Proverbs 6:6-11 (NASB)
6Proverbs 6:6Go to the ant, O sluggard, Observe her ways and be wise,7Proverbs 6:7Which, having no chief, Officer or ruler,8Proverbs 6:8Prepares her food in the summer And gathers her provision in the harvest.9Proverbs 6:9How long will you lie down, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep?10Proverbs 6:10“A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest”—11Proverbs 6:11Your poverty will come in like a vagabond And your need like an armed man.
24Proverbs 11:24There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, And there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want.
18Genesis 3:18“Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for you; And you will eat the plants of the field;19Genesis 3:19By the sweat of your face You will eat bread, Till you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken; For you are dust, And to dust you shall return.”
18Ecclesiastes 2:18Thus I hated all the fruit of my labor for which I had labored under the sun, for I must leave it to the man who will come after me.19Ecclesiastes 2:19And who knows whether he will be a wise man or a fool? Yet he will have control over all the fruit of my labor for which I have labored by acting wisely under the sun. This too is vanity.20Ecclesiastes 2:20Therefore I completely despaired of all the fruit of my labor for which I had labored under the sun.21Ecclesiastes 2:21When there is a man who has labored with wisdom, knowledge and skill, then he gives his legacy to one who has not labored with them. This too is vanity and a great evil.22Ecclesiastes 2:22For what does a man get in all his labor and in his striving with which he labors under the sun?23Ecclesiastes 2:23Because all his days his task is painful and grievous; even at night his mind does not rest. This too is vanity.24Ecclesiastes 2:24There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and tell himself that his labor is good. This also I have seen that it is from the hand of God.25Ecclesiastes 2:25For who can eat and who can have enjoyment without Him?26Ecclesiastes 2:26For to a person who is good in His sight He has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, while to the sinner He has given the task of gathering and collecting so that he may give to one who is good in God’s sight. This too is vanity and striving after wind.

Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost.2Isaiah 55:2“Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And delight yourself in abundance.
35Acts 20:35“In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

You cannot serve God and wealth.”
25Matthew 6:25“For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?26Matthew 6:26“Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?27Matthew 6:27“And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?28Matthew 6:28“And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin,29Matthew 6:29yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.30Matthew 6:30“But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!31Matthew 6:31“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’32Matthew 6:32“For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.33Matthew 6:33“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.34Matthew 6:34“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
14Ecclesiastes 8:14There is futility which is done on the earth, that is, there are righteous men to whom it happens according to the deeds of the wicked. On the other hand, there are evil men to whom it happens according to the deeds of the righteous. I say that this too is futility.15Ecclesiastes 8:15So I commended pleasure, for there is nothing good for a man under the sun except to eat and to drink and to be merry, and this will stand by him in his toils throughout the days of his life which God has given him under the sun.
28Ephesians 4:28He who steals must steal no longer; but rather he must labor, performing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with one who has need.
