Steps
- Use the speaker button on a Bible passage, search result, or saved passage to begin reading aloud.
- The current verse is highlighted as it is read, and the page gently scrolls forward as the active verse advances so you can follow along visually.
- Press the same button again to pause, then press it again to resume from the paused spot.
- Use the Voice menu when your browser exposes more than one installed voice. Available voices depend on the device and browser.
- When reading a full chapter, keep Autoplay checked to continue into the next chapter automatically after the current chapter finishes.
- Turn Autoplay off any time if you only want the current chapter to be read. Awesome Bible remembers that preference in this browser.
- On macOS, higher-quality voices may need to be downloaded first in System Settings before Safari or Chrome can offer them here.
- Awesome Bible skips verse numbers, visible references, and reader controls so the spoken audio stays focused on Scripture text.
